About the Course

Course goal is to introduce students to web development based on technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Furthermore, topics include basics of Bootstrap and Jquery. These course materials will assist students in developing skills necessary to work as a Junior Frontend Web Developer.

Students will solve problems using tools such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript:

  • Create, debug, and maintain professional websites;
  • Gather, organize, and present information to help a client make business-critical decisions;
  • Interact, collaborate and communicate effectively with the instructor and fellow students.

Gulzhan Yegemberdiyeva is a senior lecturer at Astana IT University, Department of Software Engineering, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. She received her Master’s degree in Computational and Cognitive Neuroscience from the Loránd Eötvös University, Hungary. She has teaching experience of 3 years and industrial experience of 4 years. Her scientific interest is in the field of artificial intelligence and user experience.
