This course is a one-semester course intended for 1st year students. It introduces students to the fundamental concepts of linear algebra. The course primarily deals with two mathematical objects: matrix and vector; and covers topics such as solutions of systems of linear equations, properties of invertible matrices, linear transformation, determinant, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, vector spaces and subspaces, linear independence, basis, coordinates, analytical geometry of lines and planes in the space.
