About This Course

Course Overview

The course is designed for entry-level bachelors in the specialty of information security systems with a basic understanding of computer science and basic math skills such as algebra and probability, discrete mathematics.


Course Learning Goals

The main objective is to study the Cybersecurity principles, Cybersecurity attacks, ensuring information security of cybernetic systems, including ensuring the security of automated control systems for technological processes


Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Analyze cyber-attacks, types of cybercrimes, cyber laws and also how to protect them self and ultimately the entire Internet community from such attacks.
  2. Interpret and forensically investigate security incidents
  3. Apply policies and procedures to manage Privacy issues
  4. Design and develop secure software modules
