The course includes: logics, set theory, functions, and fundamental principles of counting, number theory, inclusion-exclusion principle, recurrence relations, graph theory.
Course goal is to familiarize students with an initial base in mathematics such as sets, basic of combinatorics and graph theory. The main goal is to be able to apply above-mentioned tools to problems in postrequisites courses.
