Course description
“Audio Electronics” is a 10-week course, where the main focus is on crafting sound through application of digital audio editing, sound design concepts and developing physical, technical skills required to work with audio electronics.
Course goal(s)
Course goal is to provide a solid background in audio electronics and sound design for computer science, telecommunication and information security students, in preparation either for a job in industry or for more advanced courses at the graduate level.
Course objectives:
- To understand the basics of audio electronics and sound design;
- To improve understanding of difference between audio and sound;
- To know principles of sonification;
- To analyze workflows in industry related to audio.
- Knowledge in various Digital Audio Workstations;
- Knowledge of audio electronics.

- proficient use of different types of Audio Electronics
- Edit and Design specific sounds
